The United States made extensive diplomat efforts to reach the war in Cambodia, which began about September 1974. In the day between the departure of Lon Nol and the US withdrawal, Cambodian leaders and the United States asked Prince Norodom Sihanouk to come back and take power.
សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក បានបង្កើតគណៈប្រតិភូការទូត ប្រតិកម្មលើរឿងសង្គ្រាមនៅកម្ពុជា ដែលបានចាប់ផ្ដើមនៅខែ កព្ញា ១៩៧៤។ នៅក្នុងថ្ងៃចេញដំណើររបស់ លន់ នល់ និងការដកទ័ពរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក។ មេដឹកនាំកកម្ពុជា និង សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក បានស្នើរសុំ សមេ្ដច នរោត្ដម សីហនុ មកដឹកនាំ និងកាន់អំណាចសារជាថ្មី។
