The war in Kampuchea escalated once more in 1983, which was more serious, expensive and bitter than the previous four years of fighting. Both sides displayed a renewed commitment to the battle field with increased arms build up, recruitment and preparations for fighting.
សង្គ្រាមមួយទៀតនៅកម្ពុជារឹតតែខ្លាំងឡើងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៣ វាមានភាពកាន់តែប្រាកដប្រជា កាន់តែមានភាពល្វីងជូចត់ជាងការប្រយុទ្ធនៅបួនឆ្នាំមុន។ ភាគីទាំងសងខាងបានបង្ហាញនូវការបេ្ដជ£ាសារជាថ្មីជាមួយការកើនឡើងនៃអាវុធយុទ្ធភណ័្ឌការកេណ្ឌទ័ពព្រមទាំងការត្រៀមខ្លួនក្នុងការប្រយុទ្ធនៅលើសមរភូមិ។
