The Cambodian government, in a note to the United Nations, had rejected charges of mass violations of human rights by assuring that, "it does not murder but pursues a noble and virtuous goal by serving the people on the basis of just policies."
រដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា នៅក្នុងកំណត់ហេតុ ទៅអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ បានច្រានចោលបទចោទរំលោភសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស ដោយអះអាងថា ឪវាមិនមែនជាកាសម្លាប់ ប៉ុន្ដែវាប្រកបទៅដោយភាពថ្លៃថ្នូរ និង គោលការណ៍ប្រកបដោយគុណធម៌ បម្រើប្រជាជនក្នុងមូលដ្ឋានគោលនយោបាយត្រឹមត្រូវ។
