The Cambodian government had apparently carried out a high-level purge of Cabinet members who opposed stringent economic and political program. The official apparently purged were Hu Nim, Ministry of Information and Propaganda and Toch Phoeun, Minister of Public Work.
រដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា បានអនុវត្ដន៍ការបរិសុទ្ធកម្មលើសមាជិកគណៈរដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីអ្នកដែលជំទាស់លើបែបខាងផ្នែកសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និង កម្មវិធីនយោបាយ។ ជាក់ស្ដែងបានវិសុទ្ធលើ លោក ហូ នឹម ជារដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីនៃក្រសួងព័ត៌មាន និង ឃោសនាការ, ទូច ភឿន រដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីនៃក្រសួងសាធារណការ។
