Her husband called Am Iek. He got married in 1968.She has two children. Her father called Sem. Sem died in the Khmer Rouge regime. Her mother called Hem Yean. She died at the age of 77 years old. Nget Kheang has 7 siblings. Two of her siblings had died. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, medical care, and shelter. She used to be brainwahsed. She was close to death. She was separated from her family members. She experienced the unnatural death of her family and friend. She used to be tortured. She was in a situation that her life was in great danger. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She feels withdrawn from people. She finds it is difficult in concentrating. She feels on guard. She feels irritable. She is inablity of the most traumatic events. She does not have much interest in the daily activities. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional when reminded of the most hurful events. She finds it is difficult in performing her daily tasks. She feels hopelessness.
