President Ne Win of Burma, the first head of state to visit Cambodia since the communist victory in April 1975 said that, "There is no need for us to to offer any material assistance to the Cambodia people, but we offer congratulations on their success."
ប្រធានាធិបតីភូ&ៈ១៤២់ លោក នេ វ៉ីនដែលជាប្រមុខរដ្ឋដំបូងគេដែលធ្វើកាទស្សនកិច្ចទៅកាន់ប្រទេសកម"ុជាចាប់តាំងពីជ័យជំនះរបស់បក្សកុម្មុយនីសនៅខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា «គ្មានសេចក្តីត្រូវការអ្វីដែលយើងត្រូវផ្តល់ជំនួយសម្ភារៈទៅកាន់កម"ុជាឡើយ ប៉ុនែ្តយើងសូមចូលរួមតេ្រកអរនូវភាពជោគជ័យរបស់ពួកគេ» ។
