Some 200 Cambodian survivors witnessed members of their families and many others died of exhaustion from forced marches and the slave labor, from starvation and diseases and from the brutal conditions of life to which the Cambodian people were subjected by the Khmer Rouge.
ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាដែលសល់ពីជីវិត២០០នាក់ បានឃើញសមាជិកគ្រួសាររបស់ ខ្លួននិងអ្នកផេ្សងទៀតជាច្រើននាក់បានស្លាប់ដោយសារការបង្ខំឱ្យប្រើកម្លាំង ធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ហើយដើរជាក្បួន ព្រមទាំងជិះជាន់ទៅលើកម្លាំងពលកម្ម អ្នកខ្លះទៀតស្លាប់ដោយសារអត់ឃ្លាន ជម្ងឺឆ្លង និងខ្លះទៀតដោយតែទង្វើ ដ៏ឃោរឃៅររបស់ក្រុមខ្មែរក្រហមដែលបានធ្វើដាក់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាអស់ទាំង នោះ។
