Cambodians who escaped the killing fields of their homeland appealed to President Reagan and the rest of the world to brand the death of 2 to 3 million of their countrymen as genocide. Arn Chorn pleaded, "Bring those who have committed or are responsible for the atrocity to the World Court."
ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាដែលបានរត់គេចចេញពីវាលពិឃាដនៃមាតុភូមិកំណើតរបស់ ខ្លួនបានដាក់ពាក្យបណ្ដឹងទៅកាន់ប្រធានាធិបតី រៀល ហេ្គន និងអ្នកធ្វើការ ដទៃទៀតនៅក្នុងពិភពលោកដើម្បីឱ្យជួយដាក់ឈ្មោះពីការសម្លាប់ជាតិសាសន៍ ខ្លួនឯងជាង ២-៣លាននាក់ជាអំពើប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍។ អាន ចន បាននិយាយថាដោយទទូចសុំថា « ត្រូវនាំយកដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដរឺអ្នកដែលត្រូវ ទទួលខុសត្រូវចំពោះអំពើឃោរឃៅទាំងនោះទៅកាន់តុលាការពិភពលោក»។
