Most of the killing and dying in Cambodia, a peasant, largely non-literate society, was anonymous, without record, and lost to history. At any one time Tuol Sleng held between one thousand and fifteen hundred prisoners.
ភាគច្រើននៃការសម្លាប់និងការសម្លាប់នៅកម្ពុជាដែលជាសង្គម កសិករ ដែល ភាគច្រើនមិនចេះអក្សរគឺមានភាពអនាមិកដោយគ្មានការកត់ត្រាទុកហើយ ត្រូវបានបាត់បង់ទៅតាមប្រវត្ដិសាស្ដ្រ។ ក្នុងពេលមួយ ទួលស្លែងមានខ្លួន អ្នកទោសរវាងមួយពាន់និងមួយពាន់ប្រាំរយនាក់។
