The most desperate people in Democratic Kampuchea were those targeted for elimination because of their race, creed or culture. In many areas Cham communities were broken up and families dispersed among the Khmer population.
ភាពអស់សង្ឃឹមខ្លាំងបំផុតនៅក្នុងរបបកម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យដែលត្រូវបាន កំណត់គោលដៅសម្រាប់លុបបំបាត់ ពូជសាសន៍ សាសនា និងវប្បធម៌។ នៅតំបន់ជនជាតិចាមជាច្រើនសហគមន៍ ត្រូវបានបែកបាក់និងក្រុមគ្រួសារ ជាច្រើនត្រូវបានបែងចែកនៅក្នុងចំណោមប្រជាជនខ្មែរ។
