Noam Chomsky wrote a very long article about Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. The torture of Cambodia during that period was one of the horror Stories of the modern period. The DK continued a border war against Vietnamese troops who installed the Heng Samrin regime.
នាំ ចនស្គីបានសរសេរអត្ថបទដ៏វែងអន្លាយមួយអំពីកម្ពុជាដែលស្ថិតនៅក្រោមការគ្រប់គ្រងរបស់ខ្មែរក្រហម ទារុណ្ឌកម្មនៃកម្ពុជាក្នុង សម័យនោះគឺជារឿងដ៏គួរឱ្យរន្ធត់ មួយនៃសម័យទំនើប។ បក្សកម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ នៅតែបន្ដ សង្គ្រាមនៅតាមព្រំដែនប្រឆាំងនឹងទ័ពវៀតណាម ដែលគាំទ្ររបបហេងសំរិន។
