In April 1975, Khmer Rouge overcame Phnom Penh. The world was witness to one of the most bizarre and brutal revolutions of this century. Costs of Khmer Rouge rule were high. An estimated one to three millions people died of starvation, disease, and execution.
នាខែមេសា ១៩៧៥ ខ្មែរក្រហមបានចូលគ្រប់គ្រងទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ ពិភពលោកនេះគឺជាសាក្សីមួយនៃបដិវត្ដន៍ចម្លែកឃោរឃៅបំផុតនៃសតវត្សនេះ។ តម្លៃនៃការគ្រប់គ្រងរបស់ខ្មែរក្រហម គឺខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់បំផុត។ ប្រជាជនប្រមាណ១-៣ លាននាក់បានស្លាប់ដោយការស្រែកឃ្លានអាហារ ជម្ងឺ និង ការសម្លាប់ផ្ទាល់។
