A group of 17 people wrote a letter to secretary of state James Baker, concerning the long-standing US foreign policy in Southeast Asia. They were referring to the group threat which the Khmer Rouge posed to a peaceful settlement in Cambodia.
មនុស្សមួយក្រុមដែលមានគ្នាចំនួន១៧នាក់បានសរសេរសំបុត្រផ្ញើមកកាន់ រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ជេម ប៉េកឃើ ដោយបង្ហាញអំពីការដាក់គោលនយោបាយ បរទេសរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកដ៏យូរអង្វែងនៅក្នុងតំបន់អាស៊ីអាគេ្នយ៍។ មនុស្សមួយក្រុមនោះក៏បានសំដៅទៅលើការគំរាមកំហែងដែលខ្មែរក្រហម បានបំផុសថាចង់មានការដោះស្រាយដោយសន្ដិវិធីនៅកម្ពុជា។
