The brief activities of Hiep Savorn was a chief of Metal Melting Factory D-1, Ministry of State Industry. In 1970, Savorn discontinued his schooling at grade 9. Savorn joined the revolution, serving as a militiaman of Thmei Village, Peam Meanchey Sub-district, between 1972 and 1975. In September 1975, Savorn joined the revolution through the indoctrination of Heanh, [Chief of Factory D-1]. After joining the CIA, Savorn and his network carried out anti-revolutionary activities consecutively such as burning down a battery factory and two houses, destroying air tube, 30 looms, poisoning 200 people, distributing leaflets in factory D-1, hiding weapons, and concocting the plots to stage coup in April 1978.
ប្រវត្ដិសកម្មភាពសងេ្ខបរបស់ ហៀប សាវន ប្រធានស្លដែក រោងចក្រដ-១ ក្រសួងឧស្សាហកម្មរដ្ឋដូចខាងក្រោមនេះ។ ១៩៧០ សាវន ឈប់រៀនត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៩។ សាវនចូលបដិវត្ដ ធ្វើជាឈ្លបនៅភូមិថ្មី ឃុំពាមមានជ័យតាំងពី១៩៧២-៧៥។ ខែ៩-១៩៧៥ សាវន ចូលសេអ៊ីអាតាមការអប់រំពីឈ្មោះហ៊ាញ«ប្រធានរោងចក្រដ-១»។ ក្រោយពីចូលសេអ៊ីអាមក សាវន និងបក្ខពួកធ្វើសកមភាពបំផ្លាញបដិវត្ដជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់ដូចជាដុតរោងចក្រ ថ្មពិលឆេះមួយខ្នង ឆេះផ្ទះពីរខ្នង បំផ្លាញសំបុកខ្យល់ស្លដែក បំផ្លាញកីតម្បាញអស់៣០ បំពុលមនុស្ស២០០នាក់ បាចត្រាក់ នៅរោងចក្រដ-១ លាក់អាវុធទុកនិងចូលរួមប្រជុំពីផែនការ ធ្វើរដ្ឋប្រហារនៅខែ៤-១៩៧៨។
