A French official who had just left Cambodia said that the Khmer Rouge evacuated all 2 million people from Phnom Penh in just 24 hours shortly after the city fall. All the population without exception were evacuated.
មន្ដ្រីជនជាតិបារាំងម្នាក់ដែលទើបនឹងចាកចេញពីប្រទេសកកម្ពុជាបាននិយាយខ្មែរក្រហមបានជម្លៀសប្រជាជនក្រុងភ្នំពេញជាង២លាននាក់ ក្នុងរយៈពេលតែ២៤ម៉ោងប៉ុណ្ណោះក្រោយពីទីក្រុងដួលរលំ។ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់ត្រូវបានលើកលែងឡើយ។
