The committee on Southeast Asia announced a new Indochina Studies Program. This was intended to encourage and support research, writing and the archiving of materials on Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, drawing on the knowledge and experience of the refugees who had left those three countries since 1975 and who were now residing in North American.
គណៈកម្មាធិការអាស៊ីអាគេ្នយ៍ បានប្រកាសចេញកម្មវិធីសិក្សាលើឥណ្ឌូចិនថ្មីមួយ។ គឺក្នុងគោលបំណងដើម្បីលើកទឹកចិត្ដ និង គាំទ្រដល់ការស្រាវជ្រាវ ការសរសេរ និង ការរក្សាទុកឯកសារស្ដីពីកម្ពុជា ឡាវ និង វៀតណាម សំដៅលើចំណេះយល់ដឹង នឹង បទពិសោធន៍របស់ជនភៀសខ្លូនដែលខ្លួនដែលបានចាកចេញពីប្រទេសទាំងបីនេះ ចាប់តាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ និង អ្នកដែលមានលំនៅដ្ឋានបច្ចុប្បន្ន នៅអាមេរិកខាងជើង។
