The first top-level Cambodian delegation to travel abroad received a grand welcoming ceremony. The Cambodians, led by Khie Samphan and Ieng Sary, landed at Peking for an official friendly visit at the invitation of Chinese government. Among the topics expected to be discussed by Cambodian and Chinese officials were the future of Prince Norodom Sihanouk.
គណៈប្រតិភូថ្នាក់តំបូងរបស់កម្ពុជាបានធ្វើដំណើរទៅក្រៅប្រទេសនិងទទួលបានការស្វាគមន៍ដ៏អស្ចារ្យ។ ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាដែកដឹកនាំដោយ ខៀវ សំផន និង អៀង សារី បានធ្វើដំណើរទស្សនៈកិច្ចជាផ្លូវការក្នុងការអព្ជោីញដោយរដ្ឋាភិបាលចិននៅទីក្រុងប៉េកាំង។ ក្នុងចំណោមប្រធានបទដែលលើកមកពិភាក្សាជាផ្លូវការរវាងកម្ពុជា និង ចិនគឺជាអនាគត់នៃព្រះនរោត្ដមសីហនុ។
