The treatment of the Lon Nol regime's soldiers and civil servants by the Khmer Rouge appearently sowed the seeds of resistance surfacing in the Cambodian countryside. The bulk of resistance is in two jungle, Kirirom mountains and the forest West and Southwest of Battambang.
