Cambodian and Vietnamese fighting was the first Soviet/Chinese Proxy war. The Soviet helped Vietnam and Cambodia was helped by China. American guilt of the Vietnam war affects its views on Cambodia and Vietnam.
ការច្បាំងគ្នារវាងកម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាមគឺជាសង្គ្រាមដែលតំណាងឱ្យសូវៀត- ប្រទេសចិនលើកតំបូង។ សហភាពសូវៀតនៅពីក្រោយខ្នងវៀតណាម និង ប្រទេសចិននៅពីក្រោយខ្នងកម្ពុជា។ ប្រទេសអាមេរិកដាក់កំហុសទៅលើសង្គ្រាមវៀតណាមថា ប៉ះពាល់ទៅលើទស្សនៈរបស់គេពីកម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាម។
