No major war damage to the ancient complex was apparent but neither was there any evidence of restoration and maintenance. Cambodia reopened Angkor Wat to foreigners barred from viewing the ancient temple by eitht years of war and revolution.
គ្មានសង្គ្រាមបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញដល់ប្រាសាទនោះទេ ប៉ុន្ដែវាមិនមែនភស្ដុងតាងណាមួយលើការជួលជុល និងមើលថែទាំឡើយ។ ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានលើឡើងវិញនូវដំណើរការទេសចរណ៍អង្គរវត្ដដល់ជនបរទេស ដែលត្រូវបានរារាំងក្នុងកាទស្សនាប្រាសាទបុរាណ ដោយសារបដិវត្ដន៍ និង សង្គ្រាម៨ឆ្នាំ។
