Nearly four year after going into self imposed isolation, baring itself from normal international, politacal and economic relation or even contacts, Cambodia was gradually opening itself to visitors. It also searched for trade relations with the other world, in exchange of rice and rubber.
អស់ជិតរយៈពេល៤ឆ្នាំក្រោយពីធ្លាក់ក្នុងភាពឯកកា កម្ពុជាបានចាប់ផ្ដើមក្នុងការបើកឱ្យភេ£ៀវចេញ- ចូល និង បានបង្ហាញពីការផ្ដាច់ខ្លូនពីនយោបាយ ទំនាក់ទំនងខាងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម រឺមួយក៏ទំនាក់ទំនងការទូត។ កម្ពុជាបានស្វែងរកទំនាក់ទំនងជំនួយជាមួយប្រទេសដទៃទៀត ដោយការដោះដូរស្រូវ និង កៅស៊ូ។
