According to a US Navy information officer aboard the Okinawa, some air force helicopters also evacuated a number of persons to US military base at Utapao in Thailand. It was believed that Saukhom Khoy and his family were taken there too.
យោងទៅតាមមន្ដ្រីព័ត៌មាននៃកងនាវាសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ប្រចាំការនៅទីក្រុងអូគីណាវ៉ា កងកម្លាំងឧទ្ធម្ភាចក្រ បានជម្លៀសប្រជាជនមួយចំនួនទៅកាន់ មូលដ្ឋានកងទ័ពសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក នៅឯអ៊ូប៉ូប៉ាវ ប្រទេសថៃ។ វាត្រង់បានជឿជាក់ថា សូកាំខូយ និងគ្រួសាររបស់លោកត្រូវនាំយកទៅទីនោះដែរ។
