Vietnam and Cambodia had renewed heavy fighting in border areas after a lull. Cambodia reported that Vietnam attacked at the Mekong valley region North of Phnom Penh, but that Cambodian troops beat back the advances, killing 1,000 vietnamese.
វៀតណាម និងកម"ុជាបានកធ្វើការប្រយុទ្ធយ៉ាងខ្លាំងសាជាថ្មីនៅតំបន់ព្រំដែន បន្ទាប់ពីមានភាពស្ងៀមស្ងាត់មួយ។ កម"ុជាបានរាយការណ៍ថាវៀតណាមបានវាយប្រហារតាមតំបន់ជ្រលងទនេ្លរមេគង្គភាគខាងជើងទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ប៉ុនែÒថាកងទ័ពបានវាយបកទៅមុខ ដោយបានសម្លាប់ជនជាតិវៀតណាមចំនួន១០០០នាក់។
