Mr. Seng, the NADK military commander of district 505 told the KPNLAF at checkpoint red that UNTAC had to leave Sok San by 22 May 1993. KPNLAF colonels Pel and Chim believed that this demand came because several hundred NADK villagers expressed a desire to vote in the elections.
