David Hawk stated in his paper that after years of stalemate and glacial progress, the diplomacy of the Cambodian conflict was extremely fluid. The discussion of Cambodia in the corridors of the UN, and also perhaps in Washington and Paris, tended to sound as if another regional conflict was about to be resolved.
លោក ដេវីដ ហក បានថ្លែងនៅក្នុងក្រដាសលោកថាថ ក្រោយពេលឈាន ដល់ភាពទាល់ច្រកជាច្រើនឆ្នាំនិងវឌ្ឍនភាពនៃដំណាក់កាលត្រជាក់ដែលឈាន ទៅដល់ការធ្វើឱ្យរលាយនៃចំណងការទូតរបស់ជម្លោះនៅកម្ពុជា។ កិច្ច ពិភាក្សា របស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជានៅក្នុងបរិបទរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាតិ និង ប្រហែលជាធ្វើនៅក្នុងទីក្រុងវ៉ាស៊ីនតោន និងទីក្រុងប៉ារីស ដែលស្ដាប់ មើលទៅដូចជាបញ្ហាជម្លោះនៅឯប្រទេសដទៃទៀតគឺត្រូវបានដោះស្រាយ ដែរ។
