The purpose of the present report was to recommend to the Security Council that it authorized the establishment of the United Nations Advance Mission in Cambodia, which would assume its functions as soon as the agreement on a comprehensive Political Settlement.
គោលបំណងនៃរបាយការណ៍បច្ចុប្បន្នភាពគឺចង់ដើម្បីណែនាំទៅដល់ក្រុម ប្រឹក្សាសន្ដិសុខអំពីការអនុញ្ញាតនូវបេសកម្មរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិនៅក្នុងកម្ពុជាឱ្យបានជឿនលឿន ដែលអាចសន្មត់ជាមុខងារ ឱ្យឆាប់រហ័ស ដូចទៅនឹងការចុះកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទៅលើសមត្ថិភាពការដោះស្រាយផ្នែកគោល នយោបាយឱ្យមានភាពទូលំទូលាយ ។
