The purpose of torturing was to get their responses. It was not something to do for fun. Thus, the interogator might make them hurt, so that they would response quickly. Another purpose was to break them psychologically.
គោលបំណងនៃការធ្វើទារុណកម្មគឺដើម្បីទទួលបានការឆ្លើយតប។ វាមិនជាអ្វីដែលធ្វើដើម្បីការសប្បាយនោះទេ។ ដូចចេ្នះអ្នកសួរចម្លើយត្រូវតែធ្វើឱ្យពួកគេឈឺ ទើបពួកគេអាចឆ្លើយតបបានលឿន។ គោបំណងមួយទៀត គឺកមេ្ទចពួកគេដោយប្រើចិត្ដវិទ្យា។
