US Ambassador to Cambodia John Gunther Dean called for evacuation of Americans and some Cambodians. There were 150 Americans left in the city. Sources indicated that the rescue plan also included taking several hundred Cambodians out of the capital.
ឯអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកប្រចាំប្រទេសកម្ពុជា គឺលោក ចន ហ្គានដឺដីន បានអំពាវនាវសម្រាប់ការភៀសខ្លួននៃជនជាតិអាមេរិកកាំង និងប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាមួយចំនួនដែរ។ មានជនជាតិអាមេរិកកាំង ១៥០ នាក់ បានចាកចេញពីទីក្រុង។ ប្រភពព័ត៌មានបានចង្អុលបង្ហាញថា ផែនការសង្គ្រាះក៏រួមបព្ចាូលទាំង ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជារាប់រយនាក់ បានចាកចេញពីរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។
