Dith Pran, whose experiences under the Khmer Rouge were depicted in the 1984 movie "The Killing Fields", returned from his visit to Cambodia in a decade, appealing for the exclusion of the radical communist movement from any settlement of the 10-year Cambodian conflict.
ឌិត ប្រ៊ន ដែលជាអ្នកធ្លាប់បានឆ្លងកាត់នូវ សម័យខ្មែរក្រហម បានពណ៍នា ឡើង តាមរយៈខ្សែភាពយន្ដកាលពីឆ្នាំ១៩៨៤ ដែលមានឈ្មោះថា «វាល ពិឃាដ» បន្ទាប់ពីការធ្វើដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចនៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាជាងមួយ ទសវត្សលោកបានអំពាវនាវសម្រាប់ការច្រានចោលនូវចលនាបដិវត្ដន៍ កម្មុយនិស្ដស្ដីពីដោះស្រាយនៃជម្លោះរបស់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាជាង១០ឆ្នាំ។
