Refugees from Cambodia said that several armed resistance groups were continuing to fight against the communist-dominated Khmer Rouge government. They said that the resistence groups, operating in Western Cambodia had ambushed Khmer Rouge patrols.
ជនភៀសខ្លួនពីកម្ពុជាបាននិយាយថា «ក្រុមអ្នកចលនាតស៊ូប៉ុន្មានក្រុម នៅតែបន្ដការប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងជាមួយ នឹងពួករដ្ឋាភិបាលកុម្មុយនិស្ដខ្មែរក្រហម»។ ពួកគេក៏បានបន្ដថា «ក្រុមអ្នកតស៊ូជាច្រើនបានវាយឆ្មក់ពួកកងល្បាតខ្មែរក្រហមនៅភាគខាងលិចនៃប្រទេស»។
