The population of the Cambodian in capital Phnom Penh rise up from 100,000 to 300,000. The reason was largely that much of the relief food from abroad was being distributed in the capital, in the form of paying for civil servants.
ចំនួនប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាសរុបដែលរស់នៅក្នុងទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញមានការកើនឡើងពី ១០០ ០០០ដល់ ៣០០ ០០០ ។ មូលហេតុដែលចម្បងនិង សំខាន់នោះ គឺជំនួយជាស្បៀងអាហារដែលទទូលបានមកពីក្រៅប្រទេស បានចាប់ផ្ដើមបែក ចែកទៅតាមតំបន់នៅក្នុងទីក្រុង ក្រោមទម្រង់ជាការ បង់ថ្លៃសម្រាប់កម្មករស៊ីវិល។
