China had several options for helping Cambodia, but might have to let the regime fall. As the outnumbered and exhausted Cambodian army took a battering from the Vietnamese-backed Khmer resistance forces, China appeared to make up its mind not to go to war for Cambodia's survival.
ចិនមានជម្រើសក្នុងការជួយដល់កម្ពុជា ប៉ុន្ដែអាចនឹងធ្វើឱ្យរបបនៅកម្ពុជាមានកាធ្លាក់ចុះ។ កងទ័ពកម្ពុជាមួយចំនួនធំហាក់មានភាពនឿយហត់ តាំងពីមានការវាយតតាំងជាមួយចលានទ័ពខ្មែរដែលមានវៀតណាម នៅពីខាងក្រោយ ចំណែកចិនហាក់ដូចជាបង្កើតគំនិតមិនទេ្សធ្វើសង្គ្រាមសម្រាប់ជីវិតរបស់កម្ពុជាទេ។
