Since 1979, more than 3,500 Khmer children arrived in Thailand without parents. Some witnessed parents bayoneted to death; all endured years of upheaval. Whether they returned to Cambodia or were resettled in the West, these children must deal with deep psychological scars.
ចាប់តាំងពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ កេ្មងជនជាតិខ្មែរប្រមាណជាង៣៥០០នាក់បានធ្វើ ដំណើរតែម្នាក់ឯងមកកាន់ប្រទេសថៃ។ ឪពុកម្ដាយដែលជាអ្នកចេះដឹងមួយ ចំនួនត្រូវបានសម្លាប់ដោយកាំបិតចំពុះទុងង ហើយខ្លះត្រូវបានរស់នៅក្នុង កលយុគដែលចលាចលខ្លាំងនោះ។ មិនថាកេ្មងៗទាំងនោះត្រូវបានត្រឡប់ មកកម្ពុជាវិញ រឺក៏ត្រូវតាំងទីលំនៅរស់នៅក្នុងភូមិភាគខាងលិចក៏ដោយ ក៏កេ្មងៗទាំងនោះត្រូវតែប្រឈមមុខទៅនឹងស្លាកស្នាមផ្លូវចិត្ដយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ។
