UK expressed that the withdrawal of Vietnamese combat units was a welcome step. The failure to reach a political settlement at the Paris Peace Conference in August 1989 was a grave impediment to the restoration to the Cambodian people of their rights to self-determination.
ចក្រភពអង់គេ្លសយល់ឃើញថាការដកចេញនូវអង្គភាពប្រយុទ្ធរបស់វៀតណាមគឺជាតំណាក់កាលនៃការស្វាគមន៍។ ភាពបរាជ័យដើម្បីឈានទៅរកការដោះស្រាយខាងផ្នែកនយោបាយនៅក្នុងសន្និសិទ សន្ដិភាពនៅប៉ារីស ក្នុងខែសីហា ១៩៨៩គឺ ជាឧបសគ្គដ៏ធ្ងន់ធ្ងរក្នុងការស្ដារនូវសិទ្ធក្នុងការសមេ្រចចិត្ដរបស់ប្រជាជានកម្ពុជា។
