Hundreds of thousands of men, women and children had been shot and bludgeoned to death behind the sealed borders of Cambodia. The crime had been so monstrous, yet invisible. There had been few witness, for all traffic was blocked at borders laced with barbed wire, buried mine, and machine gun nests.
បុរស់ ស្រÒី និងកុមាររាប់រយពាន់នាក់ត្រូវបានបាញ់សម្លាប់ និងវាយដំដល់ស្លាប់នៅជិតព្រំដែនរបស់កម"ុជា។ ឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្មនេះ គឺពិតជាអាក្រក់ក្រៃលែង ប៉ុនែÒនៅមិនត្រូវបានគេមើលឃើញ។ មានសាក្សីតិចតួចណាស់ ដោយការធ្វើដំណើរទាំងអស់ត្រូវបានបិទ នៅឯព្រំដែនដោយមានព័ទ្ធដោយលួសបន្លា គ្រាប់មីនបង្កប់ក្នុងដី និងបាញ់ដោយកាំភ្លើងយនÒ។
