After the communist tookover the country in 1975, many people had run to camp in Thailand and Vietnam. $8 million was going for such refugees in Thailand-through the United Nations High Commissioner for refugees.
បន្ទាប់ពីរបបកុម្មុយនិសÒកាន់កាប់ប្រទេសកាលពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ប្រជាជនជាច្រើននាក់បានរត់ទៅកាន់ជំរុំនៅប្រទេសថៃ និង វៀតណាម។ ប្រជាជន៨ពាន់នាក់បានរត់ភៀសខ្លួនបែបនេះនៅប្រទេសថៃតាមរយៈឧតÒមស្នងការជាន់ខ"ស់សម្រាប់ជនភៀសខ្លួនរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជិត។
