A little more than two years after the Khmer Rouge seized control of Cambodia, it became what a US official called one of the strangest countries in the world because doctors were afraid to demonstrate their educational background for fear of being branded counter revolutionary.
បន្ទាប់ពីខ្មែរក្រហមបានគ្រប់គ្រងនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាអស់រយៈពេលជា២ឆ្នាំកន្លងមកនោះវាក៏បានក្លាយទៅជាអ្វីដែលមន្ដ្រីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកបានហៅថាប្រទេសមួយក្នុងចំណោមប្រទេសដ៏ចម្លែកនៅលើពីភពលោកដោយសារតែបណ្ឌិត អ្នកមានចំណេះដឹងខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់មួយចំនួនមានភាពភ័យខ្លាចកេ្មងការបង្ហាញអំពីជីវប្រវត្ដិរបស់ខ្លួនខ្លាចជាប់ឈ្មោះថាជាជនបដិវត្ដន៍។
