As Pol Pot's purge goes on, a resistance movement growed on the Vietnamese border. Cambodian refugees coming to the Thai side of border reflected a nationalist sentiment, which might still flourish in the East. Other informed sources say the Vietnamese had armed and trained a liberation forced of between 20,000 and 25,000 Cambodian refugees.
