Three years after the change of government in Cambodia in April 1975, citizens in Democratic Kampuchea were still liable to be summarily executed or sent to carry out hard labor in work camps for any act considered hostile to the authorities.
បីឆ្នាំក្រោយពីផ្លាស់ប្ដូររដ្ឋាភិបាលនៅកម្ពុជា ១៩៧៥ ប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលក្នុងរបបកម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ គឺនៅតែបន្ដប្រតិបត្ដិការ និង បព្ជូានប្រជាជនទៅធ្វើការយ៉ាងលំបាកនៅតាមជំរុំនានា សម្រាប់ទង្វើណាមួយដែលចាត់ទុកថាជាបរមិត្ដទៅនឹងអាជ£ធរ។
