The word genocide is hybrid consisting of the Greek genos meaning race and the Latin suffix cide, meaning killing. It is a state sponsered action directed toward the elimination of specific group in their collectives.
ពាក្យថាអំពើប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍គឺជាពាក្យបូកបញ្ចូលគ្នាដែលកើតឡើងនៅ ប្រទេសក្រិក ហើយវាមាន័យថា ជាការសម្លាប់មនុស្សមួយក្រុមធំ ដែលមានការគិតទុកជាមុន ។ វាក៏ជាសកម្មភាពដែលមានការធានពីរដ្ឋមួយ ដើម្បីឆ្ពោះទៅរកការលុបបំបាត់ចោលនៃក្រុមមនុស្សដេលមានលក្ខណជាក់ លាក់នៅក្នុងសមូហភាពពួកគេ។
