In 1972, But aka Heng joined the revolution, under the indoctrination of Khieu Khun and Tuy King, chief of Sa-ang Sre village. After that, But aka Heng worked in the prison office, tortured prisoners until they died did not attend lifestyle meeting and never attended the party line, and caused members in [his/her] group to misunderstand the party line. Besides, there were the name list of medicine provision to patient [prisoners], and Pon's hand-written note sending to Duch, chief of office S-21, over the report on the process of Phoas's interrogation relevant to concealing other traitorous forces.
ប៊ុត ហៅ ហេង ចូលបដិវត្ដន៍នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧២ តាមរយៈ ខៀវ ឃុន និង ទុយ គីង ជាប្រធានភូមិស្អាងស្រែ។ បន្ទាប់មកបានចូលធ្វើការ នៅមន្ទីរឃុំឃាំង និង បានវាយអោយអ្នកទោសស្លាប់ បណ្ដាលអោយ ដាច់ចម្លើយ មិនប្រជុំជីវភាព មិនដែលរៀនសូត្រពីមាគ៌ារបស់បក្ស ធ្វើអោយសមាជិកក្រុមយល់ទេ។ បញ្ជីរាយឈ្មោះថ្នាំពេទ្យផ្ដល់អោយ អ្នកជំងឺ«អ្នកទោស»និងចំណាររបស់ប៉ុន សរសេរទៅ ឌុច ប្រធានមន្ទីរ ស-២១ រាយការណ៍ពីការសួរចម្លើយរបស់ ភាស់ ក្នុងការលាក់កម្លាំង ក្បត់ដ៏ទៃទៀត។
