Pol Pot claimed that only the smallest possoble number out of the 1 or 2 percent of Cambodians who opperated the revolution were killed. Pol Pot made his renarks a speech at mass meeting in Phnom Penh to celebrate the Party's 17th unniversary.
ប៉ុល ពត អះអាងថា មានសង្ឃឹមតែតិចតួច ១ ឬ២ ភាគរយនៃប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាដែលបានធ្វើបដិវត្ដន៍ត្រូវបានសម្លាប់។ ប៉ុល ពត បានធ្វើកកំណត់សម្គាល់លើសេចក្ដីថ្លែងមួយនៅឯកិច្ចប្រជុំក្នុងទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ដើម្បីប្រារឰពិធីខួបលើកទី១៧ របស់បក្ស។
