The first group of about 580 foreigners was evacuated two weeks ago and the second group was about 550. The Khmer Rouge refused and offered by France to provide an evacuation plane. They insisted that all the foreigners, including the aged and sick, endure a 250-mile truck ride to the Cambodian border.
ក្រុមដំបូងមានជនបរទេសប្រមាណ ៥៨០ នាក់ បានធ្វើការជម្លៀសអស់២សប្ដាហ៍មកហើយនិង ក្រុមទី២ មានប្រមាណ៥៥០ នាក់។ ពួកខ្មែរក្រហមមិនសុខចិត្ដ និងបានស្នើសុំដោយប្រទេសបារាំង ដើម្បីបែងចែកធ្វើការជម្លៀសតាមយន្ដហោះ។ ពួកខ្មែរក្រហមបានទទូចថា ជនបរទេសទាំងអស់ រួមបព្ចាូលទាំងចាស់ និង ឈឺ ស៊ូទ្រាំជិះតាមរថយន្ដធំទៅព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា ក្នុងចម្ងាយ២៥០ម៉ាយ (៤០០គីឡូមែត្រ)។
