The State Department would play an active role in pressing for United Nation consideration of alleged human rights violations in Cambodia. The department spokesman Kenneth Brown said that the United States was prepared to consider other courses of action following a three week meeting of a panel of the UN Human Rights Commission on Cambodia and other human rights issues in additional countries.
