Cambodian population had been put into the field to work. Swedish ambassador, Bjoerk, said that unlike other third world countries Cambodia was not worried about its high birth rate, for they may need manpower to attain self-sufficiency in food as well as retaining political independence.
ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា បានអោយទៅធ្វើការក្នុងតំបន់វាលរៀងៗខ្លួន។ អគ្គរដ្ឋទូត ស៊ុយអែត គឺលោក ចឺក បាននិយាយថា មិនដូចប្រទេសផេ្សងទៀត នៅក្នុងពិភពលោក។ ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាមិនព្រួយបារម្ភអំពើរឿងកម្រិតអត្រា បង្កកំណើតខ្ពស់ឡើយ។ សម្រាប់ពួកគេអាចត្រូវការបុរសម្នាក់ដែលមាន អំណាចខ្លាំងដើម្បីទទួលបាននូភាពគ្រប់គ្រាប់ក្នុងការទទួលបាននូវអាហារ ក៏ដូចជាការរក្សានយោបាយឯករាជ្យ។
