Still struggling to establish its claim to power, the Vietnamese-installed government in Cambodia faced a growing list of problems that threatened to show the country's fragile convalescence from year of war, destruction and famine.
ឥឡូវកំពុងស្ថិតនៅក្នុងកាលៈទេសៈពុះពារដើម្បីបង្កើតនូវឱកាសម្រាប់កាន់ កាប់អំណាចរដ្ឋាភិបាលដែលបង្កើតឡើងដោយក្រុមវៀតណាមដែលមានវត្ដ មាននៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាត្រូវប្រឈមមុខទៅនឹងការរីកលូតលាស់នូវវិបតិ្ដ ជាច្រើនដែលគំរាមដើម្បីឱ្យមានការបង្ហាញពីភាពរីករាលដាលនៃចំណង ចំណងសាមគ្គីភាពរបស់ប្រទេសចាប់តាំងពីឆ្នាំដែលមានសង្គ្រាមជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់ ព្រមទាំងសេចក្ដីវិនាស និង គ្រោះទុរ្ហិក្សដោយសារសង្គ្រាម។
