Um Ol was a messenger and bodyguard of Huot Se during 1971-1972. Ol received the plot from Huot Se to make contact with Nou Thul at Chheu Teal sub-district in order to ask for materials such as medicines. In 1972, when Ol was a spy of regional security office, he released 2 spies and reported that the 2 fled from the security office after they had cut key. In 1973, Ol was a deputy commander of battalion 127. At Koh Krabei Kraom battlefield, Ol investigated the enemy's situation and geographical area. Ol killed 3 spies by shooting them. Ol visited 50-cell and 100-cell's members in battalion 142 to denounce Ta Nat and Pin, and he raised that Ta Sok was a good person in leading power. Ol also assigned the networks to spy on Ta Nat and Pin in order to set up plan to kill cadres.
ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១-១៩៧២ អ៊ុំ អុល ជានិរសារ និងកងការពារឈ្មោះ ហួត សេ ហើយបានទទួលបានទទួលបញ្ជាពី ហួត សេ ទៅទាក់ទង នូ ធល នៅ ឃុំ ឈើទាល ដើម្បីសុំសម្ភារៈប្រើប្រាស់ ដូចជា ថ្នាំពេទ្យជាដើម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ពេលដែល អុល នៅជាភ្នាក់ងារ សន្ដិសុខតំបន់ បានដោះលែងគិញទាហាន ២នាក់ ហើយបាន រាយការណ៍ថាៈ គិញនោះកាត់សោររត់។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ជាអនុបញ្ជា ការកងវរសេនាតូច ១២៧ នៅសមរភូមិកោះក្របីក្រោម បាន សេុីបការពិនិត្យសភាពការខ្មាំង និងភូមិសាស្ដ្រ អុល បានបាញ់ អ្នកសេុីបការណ៍ស្លាប់ ៣នាក់។ អុល បានប្រជុំកម្មាភិបាលកងរយ និងកងហាក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច១៤២ ឃោសនាវាយប្រហាបង ណាត និងបង ពីន លើឥទ្ធិពល តាសុខ ថាជាអ្នកត្រឹមត្រូវល្អ ហើយបាន ចាត់តាំងកូនចៅអោយតាមដាន ណាត និង ពីន ដើម្បីមានផែនការ សម្លាប់ចោល។
