Summary / Abstract :

When the Khmer Rouge were in power in Cambodia between 1975 and 1979, one of the least-Known agencies of repression were their security services, especially the "S-21 special branch." At Tuol Sleng Prison in Phnom Penh. Along the "S-21" was responsible for the interrogation, torture, forced confession, and finally execution of nearly 20,000 political prisoners.
