Summary / Abstract :
|
Two hundred Cambodian refugee survivors of Khmer Rouge rule had written to world government leader appealing for action under international law to seek a judgment from international court and that those responsible should be brought to justice. In their letter to President Reagan, the Cambodian survivors welcomed their support for US ratification of the genocide convention and their pledge that the US would use the convention in American efforts to expand human freedom and fight human rights abuses around the world.
