On April 7, 1987, Mr. Yang Sam, Cambodian Documentation Commission sent a letter to Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Martin Brian Mulroney. The letter said that "We are 200 Cambodian survivors of Khmer Rouge rule who are now living in exile in the West". "We are asking you to respond and take action against the KR Genocide.".
